2018-2020 BATCH B.ED., UNIVERSITY PRACTICAL EXAMINATION HELD ON 02 & 03.03.2020

Our College of Education for Women recognized by National Council of Teacher Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. As the part of scholastic activity, our II year Bachelor of Education student-teachers of 2018-2020 batch were undergone internal examination on 2nd and 3rd March, 2020. The entire two days practical examinations were successful in grant manner.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON COUSELLING SKILLS FOR BEGINNERS ON 28.02.2020

Our student-teachers participated in the one day workshop on ‘Counselling Skills for Beginners’ organized by Department of Psychology, Vivekanandha College of Arts and Sciences for Women (Autonomous) on 28th February, 2020. Mr.Babu Rangarajan, Child & Clinical Psychologist, Senthil Child Neuro Clinic, Salem was the resource person and he explained the methods and techniques of couselling which made our student-teachers aware of child psychology.

B.ED., MODEL COMMISSION FOR THE BATCH 2018-2020 ON 27.02.2020

e conducted model practical examination for the B.Ed., course of 2018-2020 batch on 27th February, 2020. The model practical examination consisted the norms and standards stipulated by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and the student-teachers were examined and evaluated to achieve in their academic level.

GYANOTSAV 2020 AN EDUCATIONAL CONCLAVE ON 19 & 20.02.2020

Our student-teachers participated in the GYANOTSAV-2020 an Educational Conclave jointly organized by Shiksha Sankriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN) with National College (Autonomous), Trichirappalli on 19th and 20th February, 2020. Eminent Educationist from National Level bodies like ICSSR, NAAC, IIM, MHRD and Vice-chancellors from Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Dr.M.G.R. Medical University delivered their special keynote address. The programme was officially inaugurated by Thiru.Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu. Our student-teachers presented posters on the topic of ‘Education in Mother Tongue’ and ‘Innovation in teaching, learning, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities’.

TNTEU ZONAL LEVEL SPORTS MEET ON 18.02.2020

As per the guidelines of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University our student-teachers were participated in the District Level Sports Meet at KSR College of Education on 18th February, 2020. Over 65 Colleges of Education from 6 districts were participated among them our student-teacher M.Sudha, II Year, Department of English got achieved third place in Javelin Throw.

TNTEU DISTRICT LEVEL SPORTS MEET ON 11.02.2020

Our student-teachers were participated in the District Level Sports Meet at KSR College of Education on 11th February, 2020. Around 20 Colleges of Education and 300 student-teachers were participated in the competition. B.Kalaivani, II Year, Department of English, achieved third place in Shot-put and M.Sudha, II Year, Department of English, got achieved first place in Javelin Throw.

UNIVERSITY ACHIEVEMENTS – TNTEU CONVOCATION - 2017-2020 BATCH ON 05.02.2020

Our student-teachers achieved scholastically with university rank for the academic year 2017-2019 among 716 Colleges of Education in the Tamil Nadu State under Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. Miss.K.Thangabanu, Department of Mathematics, Krishna College of Education for Women achieved University Gold Medal and Miss.K.Vanitha, Department of English, Krishnasree College of Education for Women achieved University Gold Medal. They received the academic excellence from the Honorable Governor of Tamilnadu on 5th February, 2020.

71ST REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION ON 26.01.2020

We celebrated our Nations 71st Republic Day on 26th January, 2020. Our student-teachers participated in the march past followed by the National Flag hoisted by Prof.Dr.M.Karunanithi, Chairman & Secretary, Vivekanandha Educational Institutions & Hospitals, Tiruchengode & Sankari. During that ceremony pigeons were released which spreads peace and harmony.

Organized three days 'Hands on Training on Calligraphy: Art & Craft' on 17 th, 18 th and 19 th December, 2019. Mrs.Shanmuga Nachiyar, Art & Craft Trainer, Retired Government Teacher, Vathalakundu, Dindigul District was the resource person. Students got hands on training on many Socially Useful Productive Works.

Tree Plantation & Helmet Awareness Rally held On 07^th November 2019

We organized ‘Tree Plantation & Helmet Awareness Rally’ on 7th November, 2019. The awareness rally was inaugurated by Mr.M.Shanmugam, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tiruchengode and Mr.M.Chokkalingam, Chief Executive, Vivekanandha Educational Institutions at 10:30am. The rally was carried out by voicing the slogans related to the importance of tree plantation and helmet wearing awareness and the same holed in the form of placards followed by plant saplings were planted by the chief guests along with the students. In continuation of that plantation, the chief guests of the awareness programme delivered key note address on the importance of tree plantation and wearing helmets among the students in VCEW seminar hall.

Awareness on Dengue Programme held On 21^th October 2019

We organized one day 'Awareness on Dengue' on 21st October, 2019. Dr.Karunakaran and his team came from Government Hospital, Manickampalyam, Namakkal. The expert team explained about cause, effect and prevention of dengue using power point presentation followed by ‘Nilavembu Neer’ distributed to all the student-teachers.

Eye & Dental Check-up Camp conducted for the student-teachers at Vivekanandha Medical Care Hospitals, Tiruchengode on 12th October, 2019. Student-teachers were examined by the Eye and Dental experts in VMCH and exact diagnose report were given.

Ayudha Pooja & Saraswathi Pooja Celebrated in our KCEd & KSCEd on 6th October, 2019. The auspicious God worship with holy chanting was presided over by Prof. Dr. M.Karunanithi, Chairman and Secretary, Mrs. Krishnaveni Karunanithi, Managing Director, Dr. S. Arthanareeswaran, Joint Managing Director and Dr. K.B. Nivethana Krupanidhi, Executive Director Vivekanandha Educational Institutions for Women & Vivekanandha Medical Care Hospital along with Chief Executive Officer, Admission Director and Placement Director. We all the Principals, teaching staff and non-teaching staff joined together celebrated the function.

Youth Red Cross (YRC) Program for B.Ed., Colleges On 17^th September 2019

Our college organized Youth Red Cross Program on 17th September, 2019. Dr. K. S. Loganathan, YRC Coordinator, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Economics, Thiruvalluvar Government Arts & Science College, Rasipuram, Namakkal conducted the program as the chief guest. During the program the chief guest narrated and demonstrated the different types of injuries and its’ first aids like heart attack, fits, CPR method, drowsiness, fire rescuing, wrist and jaw dislocation and etc., Mr.K.Rajamani, Assistant Professor in Biological Science, Krishna College of Education for Women co-ordinated the YRC program.
